Manitoba Angel Dresses relies on the generosity of Manitobans, there are many ways to help provide our beautiful Layettes to grieving families. Thank you to all who donate to Manitoba Angel Dresses, we are grateful for any and all donations we receive.
Bridal Gowns
Brides donate their gowns that are then transformed into Angel items.
The majority of fabric for all Angel items is from donated Bridal gowns, while accent and trim colours are from bridesmaid gowns and/or donated fabric.
Completed items from Brides gowns are collaged to the gown and posted on our Facebook page.

Other Ways To Help
Fabric and Notions
Seamstresses utilize the donated fabric and notions to accent the Angel items.
Flannel
Flannel is used to line the wraps for the wee babes.
Monetary
Manitoba Angel Dresses can accept your generous donation through our paypal, these donations go towards assisting with the purchase of supplies such as packing items, printed materials or the transportation of an emergency delivery of a Layette.
Lining
Blankets are lined with purchased lining as the lining from most gowns is not large enough.

Legacy of Love Donations – Estate Contributions
Manitoba Angel Dresses accepts donations from estates, including fabric and sewing notions. Any items we cannot use are sold, and the proceeds are used to purchase the supplies we urgently need.

Fundraising Calendar
For the past eight years, Manitoba Angel Dresses has created a special fundraising calendar. Proceeds from each year’s calendar have helped support our mission by covering the cost of essential print materials, packaging, and the meaningful gifts we prepare for families. Your support ensures we can continue offering comfort, dignity and love to those who need it most
Thanks to the generous support of our calendar fundraiser, Manitoba Angel Dresses was able to purchase four Cuddle Cot units this year and donate them to hospitals throughout Manitoba.

The Gift of Time – Cuddle Cot
A Cuddle Cot is a specialized cooling bassinet designed to give grieving parents more time with their baby who has passed away. By gently cooling the baby, the cuddle cot slows natural changes, allowing families to stay close, hold their child, and create precious memories without feeling rushed.
This extra time can help mothers recover from medication effects, allow relatives to visit, and give parents the space to plan and process their loss while keeping their baby nearby. It offers a tender opportunity to hold, kiss, and spend meaningful moments with their little one born to the angels.
Thanks to the surplus funds raised through the sale of our fundraising calendars, Manitoba Angel Dresses was able to purchase four Cuddle Cot units. These units have been donated to the following health centres:
Thompson General Hospital – Thompson, Manitoba
Neepawa Health Center – Neepawa, Manitoba
Bethesda Regional Health Centre – Steinbach, Manitoba
Boundary Trails Health Centre – Winkler, Manitoba
